The ME-1001 is a highly accurate, programmable filter designed to simulate the attenuation versus frequency characteristics of the #22AWG (0.7mm) unshielded twisted-pair transmission wire commonly used in long distance telephone trunk lines in the US and around the world. T1 / E1 Line Simulator.

The ME-1002 simulates three types of transmission lines commonly used in short distance, interoffice digital telephone systems: 100W and 120W twisted-pair and 75W coaxial cable. It simulates the frequency dependent attenuation characteristics of these lines at lengths recommended by both US and European standards committees.
T1 / E1 / DS1 / DSX-1 Line Simulator.

The ME-1003 is a highly accurate, programmable filter designed to simulate the attenuation versus frequency characteristics of the #24AWG (0.56mm) unshielded twisted-pair transmission wire commonly used in long distance telephone trunk lines in the US and around the world.   T1 / E1 Line Simulator.

The ME-1004 is a highly accurate, programmable filter designed to simulate the attenuation versus frequency characteristics of the #26AWG (0.41mm) unshielded twisted-pair transmission wire commonly used in long distance telephone trunk lines in the US and around the world.   T1 / E1 Line Simulator.

The ME-1005 is a highly accurate, programmable filter designed to simulate the attenuation versus frequency characteristics of the 75W coaxial cable, type WECO 728A (Belden 9231), specified by ANSI and the CCITT for use in high speed communications networks in the US and around the world.  DS3 / E3 / SONET Cable Simulator.  Cable Modem Simulator.

The ME-1006 is a highly accurate, programmable filter designed to simulate the attenuation versus frequency characteristics of 50W coaxial cable, Belden #9223 (RG58U). It is accurate over a frequency range from 100KHz to 100MHz and has a variable Noise Mixer and buffered oscilloscope output as standard features. Please call or email for more information while this web page is being added to our site.

The ME-1007 is a high accuracy Resistive Attenuator and Variable Noise Mixer. It provides 0.5dB resistive attenuation steps from +6.0dB to -40dB. It can automatically create the 60Hz Longitudinal Noise Envelope Test required in ANSI specifications for T1 equipment along with many other impairment test configurations. It also provides a GPIB link to our other simulators when used with the ME-1001/2/3/4.
